With two main digital studio cameras and one high-end handheld model, we are able to meet your digital imaging needs. Objective Image regularly uses in-house digital photography for quick turnaround of stock imaging at high resolution. Our two full studio setups ensure professional quality results, whether the subject is a bicycle, a ring, or anything between. Our cameras interface directly with our computer systems to show results instantly. Images then move directly to the retouching and colour correction phases of the imaging process without the need for scanning. Unusually for a current-generation digital camera, our Phase One scanning back camera system can produce exceptionally detailed, high resolution files — a resolution of over 100MB per image. This technology is ideal for fast turnaround of large numbers of small, detailed items such as jewellery, in which we have specialist expertise. For even faster turnaround, maintaining high quality, our single-shot Hasselblad/Carnival system fits the bill, and for any outdoor or concept shots required, our FujiFilm 6900 Zoom provides a quick, convenient imaging path. We’re happy to work independently or with art directors and have experience in both situations. A scanning back digital camera is suitable for still life only, but produces very high quality results. This technology provides a scanning head at the back of a high quality camera and lens.
In comparison, a single shot digital camera works like a traditional camera, taking the image in one motion. Quicker, and suitable for live models, but the image resolution isn’t as high.
